This technology is based on a bidirectional WIFI module, which allow the Lorenz Marine instrument to communicate with other devices and to integrate other interesting functionalities.
- Captain Cloud is another function which let you save all the datas already present on your instrument in a Cloud; Simply registering in this Cloud, you’ll be able to explore, to plan and to save all he datas on the Web.
Through this operating system you can:
-Keep safe you datas thanks to the synchronization that the instrument automatically will do just going to the Menu of the instrument.
-Modify , delete and create routes,way points and marks, by menas of http://www.captaincloud.com
-In case of theft or damage of the instrument, all your saved datas could be transfered in a new instrument. ( function loved by fishermen and sub)
- Downloading the Mirror Control application on Apple store or in the Android platform , you’ll be able to use your Tablet or your Smartphone as second navigation device
-Download the Mirror Control App on Apple store or Play Store
-Activate the HotSpot on your Smartphone/Tablet , then , through the MENù page, general setting- Wifi option, connect your instrument.
-Open the Mirror Control application on your Smartphone/Tablet and then select ‘OK’
-Perfect! From now you can use your Smartphone or Tables every time you’ll switch your HotSpot on!
- The instrument with theWIFI option, once connected with an HotSpot , will verify if there are available software updates and It will download them automatically without any Micro SD card.
